After talking so much about Image Bank (you know, these guys) and all kinds of fun mail art movements in my Vancouver art history class, I got inspired to start using the post again and challenged Dylan to start an exchange of mail art. I received my first entry today and it’s awesome. I feel sort of daunted by it, actually, and now don’t know how or with what to respond.

As per usual, I have taken on a few too many things in my life and am feeling like a time management monster right now. I feel like I am always running and trying to catch up with readings and scholarship applications and right now, particularly, getting through a two hour online ethics tutorial, but that I always get caught up, only to fall behind a day later and start scrambling again. And all I really want to do is write my essay for V-Tape and a pitch for Interaccess and work on a new blog with Cait and read my new Bourriaud book.

I have a tendency to do this myself whether I’m in school or not, so I really shouldn’t be surprised. A friend has me convinced that this is what ambitious people who really love what they’re doing and want to be successful do in their lives (i.e. run themselves ragged) but sometimes I’m not so sure it’s the best way to go.
